Sports Bar - Sportsman’s Club (Pattaya Soi 12)

Sports Bar Beer

Sometimes I don’t want Chang beer, I love it but once in a while I want something with a little more umph. When I got there I was delighted to find a wide variety of beers, they will make a real Snakebite, and the food is good too. There is indoor air conditioned seating as well as balconies for smokers. TV’s all over and major sporting events are always televised.

Swedish - Globetrotter (Pattaya Klang Road 100m from Beach Rd.)

I am new to Swedish food, so I was a little nervous writing and recommending the Globetrotter so for confirmation that the food was legit I took my friend who is half Thai but grew up in Sweden. She marched back to the kitchen and to her delight found a Swedish chef. She was floored by how authentic the food was. The traditional Swedish dishes are on point, the pizzas are a little odd but adventurous. The first one I tried had brown gravy on it, I didn’t like it so much in the restaurant but I tell you what deep fried the leftovers at home the next day and it was ridiculously good.

**On Saturdays and Sundays they serve 5 day sour rye bread that they get from a local German Bakery. This bread alone is worth making the trip on a weekend.
